The Ohio Heat 11U National team won the USSSA Bash for Cash held in Milford, OH, on May 7-9. Riding hot bats and solid pitching, the Heat cruised through pool play to a 3-0 record, scoring 42 runs and allowing only 5. The Heat added stiff defense to the mix and won their semi-final game over the Cincinnati Dragons 10-0. The Heat beat the Cincinnati Yankees 14-1 to win the Championship on Mother's Day.
